We need a representative willing to restore fiscal order
U.S. Rep. Pete Visclosky is still not willing to stop spending or to try to cut our federal deficit.
Recently the House vote24d on a bill to require federal employees to pay their income taxes. And if they did not pay the taxes, they should be terminated. In 2008, the IRS reported more than 97,000 federal employees were delinquent on their federal income taxes, owing almost $1 billion in unpaid taxes.
Visclosky voted down the bill. He must not agree that federal employees should have to pay taxes like we do or be punished if they don't.
We need a representative willing to get our fiscal house in order and to make sure we all pay our taxes. Check on U.S. Rep. Eric Cantor's YouCut website to see what else the House is not doing to cut our deficit.
