Ask yourself why Bush didn't campaign for Romney

Did you notice all the great help George W. Bush gave Mitt Romney during the campaign? Of course you didn't, because he was nowhere to be seen.

The Republican strategists knew Bush was really to blame for the country's economic woes and hid him out of sight and, they hoped, out of mind. They'd accuse Barack Obama's team of trying to "pass the buck" any time the obvious truth was mentioned.

By contrast, Bill Clinton, who had left the country with a surplus when Bush took office, campaigned vigorously in support of the current president.
