Author of deer crossing letter has run-in with errant deer

My father, Tim, wrote about moving the deer crossing sign on Ind. 231 a while back. On a recent Saturday morning, at about 7 a.m. on his way home from work, a deer coincidentally ran in front of my father's truck, completely wrecking it. Though his truck was not so lucky, he managed to make it home safely.

So, my question now is, what is it going to take to get the deer crossing signs moved? The valuable lives of Crown Point residents and deer are in danger.
