I don't think the president or any congressmen/women have ever read the Bible.

Joshua 15:17 says, "And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife." Also, Judges 1:12 says, "Caleb said, he that smiteth Kiriath-sepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife."

Nowhere in the Bible does a father say, "Take my son to wife to your son."
