Jim Biggs is a devoted pet owner who cares for his pets and wants the same feeling and compassion he shows them to reflect on the animals at the Porter County Shelter.

Over the years the shelter has had many major problems in spite of the efforts of many people, some concerned about the animals and some with political agendas. He was a founding member of the new Moraine Ridge Wildlife Rehab Center.

He was responsible for setting up the Porter County Wildlife Advisory Board. He cares about the animals. He is fiscally responsible and will not squander money on consultants but put it to good work here in Porter County.

There are enough good minds in this county to solve the problems with the animal shelter. We all care about the animals and want what is best for them. Biggs is the best person to do this.
