Bill property owners, not renters, for protection

More on stormwater fees plus fire hydrant fees. These fees should be billed to property owners, not renters. I carry renter's insurance on my property in my home to cover these items. The owner carries insurance on the building.

He should be billed the fire hydrant fee on his property taxes along with the stormwater fees. I guess the town didn't think things through.

Seven dollars for stormwater, $4.60 for fire hydrant fee. I could get two prescription for my medicine if it wasn't for these fees.

These fees should go to the property owners. The county should be collecting these fees when people pay their property taxes.

Maybe the town doesn't want the county involved. The town needs to rethink this and refund this money.
