John Boehner's comment that Republicans "fought the good fight" is ludicrous. The "good fight," as he calls it, was nothing more than anattempted coup d'etat by Tea Partiers.

For Boehner to have allowed the doomed strategy to go on as long as he did -- knowing he could have called a vote weeks earlier -- instead causing suffering, shame and a $24 billion hit to our economy, is far from a "good fight."
