It has been more than eight weeks that a nearby alley light has been out. I have called the Hammond Street Department three times. They told me to call NIPSCO, and NIPSCO said they know and they'll get to it. My area rep also has called.

I called the mayor's office, and they said they can't do anything, that they do not have a good relationship with NIPSCO.

My house has been robbed, two attempts at breaking into my garage have been made, and my bike left behind my garage was stolen.

I am 66 and want to put my car in the garage, but I am scared because it is really dark. A neighbor down the street said another one is out. Can you help?
