Caution will help Porter County continue to pay bills

Thank you to the three J's and the one G on the Porter County Council for trying to keep the County Budget spending in line with the county income.

In these trying financial times it is hard to satisfy all needs and desires that are put forth. Along with all of the regular day-to-day expenses, the county has four very large expenditures: the jail, health insurance, 911, and drainage.

The county has had enough money, but with careful budgeting there will always be enough to pay the bills.

Oh, by the way, I am a veteran also.
