Clinton was right, cleaning up after Bush takes time

I am assuming letter writer Gary Ziolkowski of Crown Point is a Republican. If so, I will just say one name: Newt Gingrich. Talk about a hypocrite.

Both Bill Clinton and Gingrich were philanderers. One was president, and one wanted to be president. I don't condone either of them for their actions in their personal life.

I do like that Clinton left the country with a surplus. President George W. Bush didn't find a spending bill he didn't like, and he got us into the Iraq war unnecessarily.

I agree with Clinton. No president could have cleared up this recession in four years.
