Cook County officials reaping what they sowed

After reading about the big meeting in Lake County with the Cook County sheriff and others in the Chicago anti-gun crowd I was appalled that the Lake County sheriff would even mention gun shows were a big contributor to gun violence in Chicago.

Seems to me the sheriff forgot about the deputies who got nailed selling Class 3 full automatic weapons a while back. Seems that was a bigger crime with full auto weapons. Lots of federal laws broken on that one.

Back to the Chicago protesters blaming the NRA for all the gun violence, let me ask you this, who is doing most of the shootings and killings? The NRA does not promote or condone killings, they are for gun rights and gun safety.

I think it's time to quit being politically correct and bring up the culture and the demographic makeup of the criminals.

Quit blaming everyone and guns for the murders; look in the mirror and point at yourselves. Take responsibility for your own horrible culture you created.

Kind of biblical. You have reaped what you have sown.
