Cook County won't honor Indiana gun permits

In regard to the editorial, "Stop gun shows at Lake County fairgrounds," you mention Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart says this and that. With Cook County, it's always take and take, tolls and taxes.

You want a long-standing gun show to cease, but you won't honor Indiana concealed carry permits; cross the state line and you're subject to arrest.

It's time to stop rolling over. You want something, then give something. I bet Sheriff Tom Dart came to Gary armed!

Keep the fairgrounds and rent another banquet hall in the county. There's plenty of them.

I haven't been to the Lake County gun show in a while, but I will be supporting the next. You know what you can do with your opinion!
