Creating a county income tax takes easy way out

Creating a county income tax is the easy way out. Those who would create it are evidently without vision and ideas, and should not be considered for another term. They are paid to meet to resolve issues, not create them, as they have done by voting for a county income tax.

Wasteful spending in terms of county and municipal employees, many of whom may draw a paycheck for a living, is an example of an issue that would require fixing. Throwing taxpayer money at the problem will not resolve it.

Creating a county income tax displays the incompetence of the decision-making group, who may be choosing to take the easy way out — of a job.
