Crown Point loves teachers, so offer good contract

It was brought to my attention yesterday that teachers employed by the Crown Point Community School Corp., the real "teachers of excellence," are in the process of contractual negotiation.

To put things into perspective:

The only things worse than the now disgraced, former superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Bennett's haircut are Bennett himself and many of the proposed terms included in the aforementioned contract, which are receiving strong support from the local School Board.

While I only attended Crown Point High School, many of you grew up and went through the Crown Point school system in its entirety. As such, many of you, including myself, owe an incalculable debt to an educator's encouragement and tireless efforts.

We need to remind everyone who stands to disadvantage our incomparably diligent educators of a simple and irrevocable fact: Crown Point loves its teachers.
