Crown Point school system should be for entire city

I find it unfortunate that Crown Point has part of its city going to a different school district. It makes being a part of the community difficult.

Much of the community events are centered around the children and the schools, and because I live in the north end of town my family and I are not part of those events.

I'm not sure of why the city cannot opt to have all of its residents children go to the same school even though it's a different township. Perhaps this should be thought of when annexation is approved or disapproved.

Either way I hope that one day Crown Point can be one city, one school district. For now I guess we remain in Merill-Point.
