Cruz should be ashamed of himself

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz should be ashamed of himself for wasting the time and money of the American people with his nonsense. Is it any wonder Americans are fed up with the way it's "business as usual" in Congress?

If Cruz can't find a more constructive way to get a point across, I suggest he doesn't belong in the position of a U.S. senator. Cruz, and the entire Congress for that matter, are so disassociated from the realities the average American lives with everyday and seem to be more concerned about the benefits they receive from their position. I am so frustrated they have all put themselves on a pedestal and don't have to abide by the very laws and benefits they deem acceptable for the rest of us. This country is going to hell in a handbasket, and I am certainly not hopeful for the future of America any time in the near future. If

it were only possible to eliminate all of them and start over, you can bet the majority of Americans would be for it. This type of behavior can only be described as ridiculous and disrespectful to America.

And don't even get me started on the government shutdown. It seems as though anytime these so-called "adults" can't compromise, they take their balls and bats and go home. This is such a sad state of affairs.
