What is going on in Dyer? We have a police officer, Joe Cinko, who is also a council person, who votes on an ordinance for the police officers' benefit and doesn't see it as a conflict of interest.

We have three council members -- Debbie Astor, Joe Cinko and Mary Tanis -- who vote the president, Joe Dekker, out of his position as president. Dekker questioned Joe Cinko's voting as a conflict of interest, and for trying to be an honest politician he is removed from his position.

They were elected to serve the people of Dyer, not their own personal interests. It doesn't appear they are doing their job. What is going on in Dyer?
