Did community get to vote on roundabouts idea?

I, as a taxpayer of Valparaiso, say kudos to Joyce Woodworth's opinion of the 5-point roundabout. Did we, the community, get an opportunity to vote in this undertaking? Valparaiso is not a large metropolis like Indy.

Whoever is in charge should ride around on Valpo's existing streets. They are unnecessarily brutal. Or, how about giving a heads up to the jobless, homeless and the hungry?

Let's keep Valpo a good, down-home place to raise our families. Enough said.
