Do you not understand live within your means?

Stop the insanity already with the talk of a Lake County income tax!

Guess what, Lake County Council? I can’t afford it! Quite frankly, those of you supporting this tax should be ashamed of what you want to do here.

Many of us pay a lot in property tax, even with the tax caps. This tax will do nothing in the way of property tax relief. You know it, and I know it. This is just taking more money out of our pockets to fund already bloated budgets.

Maybe I also need to point out that many of your region residents are either unemployed or under-employed, struggling already with mortgage payments, food, and gas or perhaps struggling to send their kids to college.

How do you expect the region residents to get ahead when you want to dig deeper into our pockets for more money? What part of live within your means do you not understand?
