In regard to the Feb. 15 article, "In their sights": Come on, Indiana. Don't bow to Illinois pressure saying that a high percentage of the firearms come from Lake County gun shows.

Break it down and don't hide the fact that most are stolen! Indiana is being flooded by people leaving Illinois, but don't fool yourself by thinking that high taxes are the only reason.

Why is it that the cities with the highest crime rates make the most noise, like Chicago, with some of the nation's toughest gun laws but known nationwide for its corruption and murder rate.

The big firearms rant is just a smokescreen to avoid the real issues.

Just a reminder, the Second Amendment was not intended for target shooters or hunters. It was intended as a deterrent for a tyrannical government.
