Don't let Volbrecht era happen again in Highland

In 1966, I moved my family into Highland to raise my children in a warm, loving community. My children went through the Highland school system, and they with many of their friends went on to successful careers.

All these years I have been very proud of the Highland community and the school system -- except for the three years the Volbrecht trio ran the Highland School Board.

They had our quality teachers leaving, and many highly qualified teachers and coaches refused to apply for jobs. Worst of all, these three board member would visit the school to harass the teachers and try to micromanage the operations. The athletic director they installed reduced our athletic program to shambles.

Highland voters, please do not let this mistake happen again. Do not vote for the Volbrecht group.
