The East Chicago Housing Authority and Mayor Anthony Copeland keep failing the senior citizens at 3625 Pulaski.

The manager won't talk to me or the vice president. The director won't return our calls. We handicapped people here were snowed in. We think things could have been better.

The housing authority manager's yard was clean, plus her neighbors' areas were cleaned.

This is not a senior citizens building anymore. The housing authority has made this a flop house.

They don't know how to treat people. The agency is top heavy, with nobody to clean here — just collect rent.
