Elected politicians put a ring in Lady Liberty's nose

In 2010, Democrats realized the Tea Party candidates' insistence on smaller government, closed borders, First and Second Amendment rights and no Obamacare were a serious force.

To discredit the movement, they orchestrated a media smear campaign with sexual and dumb-as-rocks innuendos. Those efforts solidified the movement and stunned the Democrats with their election losses.

This month, the GOP joined their choir to still Tea Party voices.

Neither recognizes the utter contempt held by Americans for these politicians who are hijacking the country for their own legacies while feeding their insatiable ego appetites on their own lying sound-bites. Again, these attacks will galvanize The Tea Party.

The politicians controlling Americans through increasing taxes, debt and laws have also put a ring in Lady Liberty's nose, yanking and pulling for their benefit.

I hope the Tea Party's answer to these abusers is, "Bull!" and in the coming elections, helps repeat history.
