The election should tell a very important story to the politicians. The election was almost split down the middle. That tells me that nobody is happy with either party.
It is time for all the politicos to pull their collective heads out of their backsides. It’s time to think about the people they represent and not their specific parties. It’s called compromise.
The “my way or the highway” attitude has to stop. If it doesn't, this country will languish in four more years of stagnation. Not just economically, but also socially. Nothing will be done about illegal immigration, health care, foreign policy, energy creation. The list goes on.
The politicians have to pull up their big boy pants and do the job they are elected to do. If not, let’s all think about term limits and what we can do to bring it about.
