I was reading about the ordinance that Chicago Alderman Matt O'Shea is proposing because gang members are running red lights, driving on the wrong side of the road and firing guns out their car windows during funeral processions.

The ordinance passed a council meeting before moving to the full City Council. If adopted, the people who break this ordinance would pay a $500 to $700 penalty.

I'm no police officer, but they have already laws on the books. Running red lights is a ticket, driving on the wrong side of the road could be a ticket or pushed to operating a deadly weapon if the courts want it. As for discharge of a firearm in the city, just look that one up.

Stop making more laws. Enforce laws you have.
