Federal loan to Exelon at expense of military spending?

Illinois taxpayers, if you are having a difficult time paying your electric bills, why don't you call Exelon and ask for a discount?

With the help of Mayor Rahm Emanuel, David Axelrod and John Rogers, while simultaneously acting as advisor to President Barack Obama and Exelon board member, Exelon received a $640 million taxpayer loan and a $200 million stimulus grant. The taxpayer loan does not have to be paid back.

I wonder if part of the $640 million loan to Exelon is part of the money cut from our military.

Obama has been receiving donations from Exelon since he was a state senator and then a U.S. senator. He's also got an $87,000 donation from the CEO of the bankrupted Solyndra company. Let's not forget the $500 million Solyndra received from the Obama administration.

I guess it's more important to Obama to keep his donors happy than to have our military fitted with the best equipment available.
