Funding balance unfair at Lowell High School

I am the mother of a band student at Lowell High School. The band department is in need of new instruments. I am appalled to find out that the Lowell Athletic Department just spent $15,000 -- yes, I said $15,000 -- on a volleyball net.

Are you kidding me? I share in the frustration of the band director when this kind of money is thrown at the athletic department. I'm trying to understand the logic here. We need an even distribution of funds. We need to bring this to light.
