Times Executive Editor William Nangle recently proposed a tax increase as the solution for the fiscal problems of Lake County.

Lake County, Gov. Mitch Daniels (a governor who made Indiana one of only four states with a budget surplus equal to 10 percent of their general fund) says, “has a reputation for governmental corruption where employers are more likely to flee than invest.” It's a county so corrupt that more than 30 people have been indicted for fraud and corruption in the past decade.

That’s the county where the only solution is for the taxpayers to pay even more?

What’s the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

It’s not a revenue problem; it’s a spending/fraud problem! Citizens, get out the vote and get rid of every deficit-spending, tax-hiking liberal from president on down to dog catcher!
