The holidays are fast upon us. Catalogs and flyers fill the mailbox. But of all the presents that should not be given, puppies and kittens should top the lists.

First of all, that adorable kitten or puppy will grow up. You are going to have accidents. The person receiving them should be prepared to keep them, not throw them out when the cuteness wears off. This is a commitment.

If you are going to give pets. Hallmark stores have beautiful authentic animals in all breeds and types. Give them.

Don't give some little animal who will be heartbroken when they are thrown out or taken to the shelter.
