God bless Pence, Christians against gay marriage

At the end of Rick James' June 30 column, it says the column is his opinion. Now I will give my opinion as I am entitled.

Just because a subject, namely gay marriage, is accepted, does not make it right. Indiana Gov. Mike Pence and the Republican Party are right to oppose this behavior. More power to them.

I dearly hope that if a referendum is voted on, there will be more Christians than atheists, who scoff at God's teachings.

As for Hoosier hospitality, there's nothing right in following the lead of other states like a bunch of sheep. Pence and the legislators are proceeding as they believe they should. If other states have condoned this issue, that's their right. Indiana has their right to act on their beliefs.

More power to Gov. Pence and the Christians who oppose it. God bless them.
