Government ruined industrial base, health care next

America has the most unusual government in the world. It is the only governing body in existence that has ruined its nation's industrial base.

Nixon put this country on an energy policy that had it been followed, this country would have been oil-free by 1988. Imagine, we would not have been tied up in the Middle East problems. We might have avoided 9/11.

This wonderful government passed a trade bill that wrecked the electronic industry in this country. In 40 years we went from a technological giant to a fifth rate power, letting nations like Japan and Korea lead the way.

Opening the way for steel imports have left our industrial base a wreck, eliminating all strategic industrial protection of steel, electronic and other industries necessary for national security. Then we turn to the individuals who ruined everything for jobs and health care.

Ask a vet how long he/she has to wait for service in the VA hospital.
