I have known Porter County Council member Sylvia Graham as a fellow nurse and as a past council member. Sylvia has served the council with dignity and honesty. She has always put her constituents first.

She has said no to new taxes and has kept her word. If you have a problem, she answers your call and devotes her time to fixing it. I know there are many people out there who know this for a fact.

She is the transparency we are looking for in our government. Way too often people don’t know who they are voting for -- false promises, absent from important votes and unavailable to their constituents. Let’s not lose one of the people who listens to us.

Our vote in this household will be for Graham for Porter County Council. A woman I know will have your back and mine.
