First, Griffith residents were referred to as racist and uncaring by many of Gary's political finest. Now, Sen. Earline Rogers, D-Gary, referred to House Bill 1585 as racist. Are you kidding me?

For years, Griffith has paid huge property taxes to support (enable) the poor relief program, which is 12 times higher than the state's average, with two-thirds of the money going to uncontrolled administrative fees. Something is terrible wrong here!

Why is it when Rogers runs out of excuses to justify uncontrolled spending in Gary she resorts to playing the race card? Is that all she has?

Griffith has enabled Gary long enough. It's not racism; it's called tough love. Try it out in Gary!
