The 100+ people who rallied at the Griffith Town Hall recently must not live in the northeast part of town. The police chief had double standards in our area. He swept all the problems under the rug and let the troublemakers do what they wanted.

The group should try to drive down our streets after school and at night. They are usually blocked with groups that will not move to the side of the street. Make sure you drive by the park on 39th after dark to see the sex, drugs and alcohol.

The town should have made his change a long time ago. Now if the school board would do their job and put an African-American male as principal of Ready School, maybe we could get our neighborhood back.
