Do you believe Congress’ new budget saving $23 billion over the next 10 years is a great deal? That is the cost of only one tsunami rebuild!
This new budget deal has about $65 billion of spending in the first two years and $23 billion of cuts over 10 years.
The media got one thing right; the vote is bipartisan. This was a bipartisan vote for more spending! This bill also cuts disabled military veterans' pensions.
Neither party in Washington is worried about how this affects our children and grandchildren. We have a $17 trillion national debt and an off-budget debt of $90 trillion from Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid combined. Our off-budget debt is averaging about $6.9 trillion a year.
This is why we need term limits to start. Wake up, voters!
