This letter is why my family doesn't recycle anymore. Last year, in the first four months I called the recycling department to ask why the driver only stops once a month and not twice like everyone else gets.

When they finally did call, they said the driver said we didn't put out baskets. I said we always put them out. He said I was a liar.

So I called the mayor's office to complain. His secretary told me the mayor didn't care if we recycle or not.

I called recycle department and said to pick up basket until I get an apology from him and the mayor for calling me a liar. This is why we don't recycle.
