It seems as if our elected officials think we work for them. They are public servants -- supposed to serve us.
Their lack of ability to balance the budget points to an inadequacy in this field. Maybe they could use a vacation to re-educate themselves in economics and how not to overspend.
Until then, we should hire the best business college graduates to fix the situation our elected officials have gotten our country in. Until then, a new set of graduates should be assigned to the position -- no political affiliations required.
