Hitchcock can afford his own moving expenses

I compliment Lake County Councilwoman Christine Cid on her recent stand against paying the additional relocation funds to the newly appointed E-911 Director Brian Hitchcock.

In the past I felt Cid was just another liberal spending politician; however, her logic, as noted in The Times, should be the basis of all the other irresponsibly liberal politicians in Lake County.

Most will undoubtedly agree Hitchcock can readily afford the moving expenses out of his exorbitant salary. He chose to leave his prior employment of his own free will, and the burden of his relocation expenses should be his responsibility.

All of the other liberal politicians should be aware that we taxpayers are looking over their shoulders, and I can guarantee that the next time we push the voting buttons, those of you we consider to be squandering our money will be replaced.
