Hobart's administration raises additional questions

Safety is too important. I'm sure there are other places to cut city spending. The new police/courts and community center would be a good start.

Why are the taxpayers asked to pay the construction bond as well as subsidize groups given space or leased at lower than market prices? Where are the energy audits and the expense/revenue spreadsheets on this building?

Why have we lost so many economic development projects?

Why is a tax and fee approach the default solution for this administration's budgeting problems? Cutting emergency responders to save money is neither acceptable nor prudent.

Why give raises when the city should be considering pay cuts for elected officials and department heads? Why is a city attorney needed at every public function of government?

Why must taxpayers pay for consultants to make decisions the administration was elected to do?

As this administration moves on, more questions seem inevitable than answers.
