Has it ever been disclosed to the U.S. taxpayer what we pay congressmen to run our country? Their vote this year almost gave themselves a new pay raise. Do these pay raises come each year?
After four years of squabbling and disagreements, CNN reported cheering, handshakes between Democrats and Republicans politicians, cigars were handed out.
With the fiscal cliff nearing, Republican politicians were loathe to vote in a tax raise for the 2 percent of wealthy millionaires. Could it be our politicians are part of that 2 percent?
Why don't we taxpayers play any part in these pay raises for government officials? We provide their salaries to run the country.
Today they have us again running toward this fiscal cliff. That deserves a payout if we go over that cliff.
