In response to Marsha Rusbasan's 9/11 memorial letter, do you think former President George W. Bush was trying to prevent the 9/11 Memorial Day ceremonies from becoming a political issue as you have done?

All these years later Rusbasan calls him a coward for not reacting after the first plane hit the tower in what every news agency reported as a tragic accident at the time and not an attack. The only order he could have given to stop those other planes would have been to shoot them down, and I would hope any president would give pause before giving that order.

Was Bush a coward when he stood out in the open at Ground Zero rallying the American people's morale that we would survive this?

Where is her criticism of Bill Clinton's failure to deal with al-Qaeda after its 1993 truck bomb attack of the north tower?
