Richard Mourdock's answer in a recent debate has stirred up a lot of controvsey. Was his statement an anti-woman statement, as some are trying to say? A foolish statement that has no basis? Or a pro-child statement that was poorly worded?

He knows for sure, but I feel he was attempting to make a pro-child statement.

Scripture says, "... children are a heritage of the Lord and the fruit of the womb is his reward."

I believe that every child is precious and a reward, or should I say, a benefit to the human race from God Almighty . Every time a child is born it's a promise of perpetuity for the human race. It's a gift of innocence from God even when it comes through a horrendous, cruel, evil act by a depraved man.

A child born of an unholy act is still a gift from God, and as soon as they are conceived, God has a will for this child, as He does for all children, whether planned or not.

I am one of those children who was unplanned and unwanted, the result of an unsolicited act. I'm glad my birth mother chose to have me and that God had a will for my life. I've enjoyed living in His will now for decades.
