I'm sick of complaining, but not positive action

I am so sick and tired of the endless and daily tripe about how our federal government and the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) are forcing us down the track of fascism, socialism, communism and other euphemisms for "we know nothing and just throw out 'isms' because it sounds smart to us."

The Dec. 13 sports page had an article about a young man from Hanover Central in Cedar Lake, Eric Lakomek, who is actually spending this season of glad tidings and good will by doing just that.

From this 68-year-old to Lakomek: Kudos, young man. What you are doing is so vastly better than most everything that shows up in this section of the paper. Your parents and your community are justly proud of you.
