I truly appreciate Joanne Paulich's view and agreement to what I recently wrote and would like to have a frank discussion with her on the issue of immigration and licensing.

I am a fourth generation American.

I believe in the ideals on which this country was built -- liberty and justice for all. I also believe we live in a sweet land of liberty. I believe that the words inscribed at the Statue of Liberty mean something and is like a creed I have lived by.

I believe in God and country, a phrase that puts morality first. Fact is, that is what immigrants want, to be citizens.

I would be more than happy to meet with Paulich and whomever she wants to bring and discuss the issue in an objective and sincere manner. At the end, we might still differ, but I would have gained an acquaintance, hopefully a friend.
