Well, Illinois is now 50th as far as derelict states go. Democrats and the Republicans before them have bankrupted our futures.
Yet, Illinois government officials act oblivious to this fact by looking for ways to bleed taxpayers further to push their twin boondoggle projects -- the Peotone Airport and the Illiana Tollway. Looking for these criminals to "create jobs" is pure folly. O'Hare is 10 miles from Maywood but does next to nothing for the city's economy. How is an unwanted (by the airlines) Peotone Airport supposed to help destitute neighborhoods and suburbs much farther away? The Illiana Expressway is similarly divorced from reality. And these are to be "run" by scandal-ridden foreign consortiums?
There is only one candidate who has consistently supported the farmers of eastern Will County, referred to Jesse Junior out as the demagogue that he is and is running for Congress (as a Democrat) in this gerrymandered district. His name is Anthony W. Williams. Go and vote for him to stop this immoral assault on productive farmland. Don't allow these scoundrels to force people out of their farms and homes and destroy prime farmland while taxes skyrocket!
