Illinois needs to put an end to slaughter of children

Can anyone help me understand Illinois?

Gov. Pat Quinn is closing prisons. The Cook County Board president cut the budgets of the state's attorney and the sheriff, and they closed sections of the Cook County Jail.

President Barack Obama stated Chicago is equal to the shooting in Connecticut. Every four months our children are being shot and killed. Not to mention all the rest of the crimes in Illinois.

The police chief is 2,300 short on Chicago patrolmen?

Personally to me, one casualty is one too many. I don't care if the child is a 2.0 student or a 4.0; they are human beings just like the rest of us.

I sincerely hope they change their strategy to put an end to the slaughter.
