The election is over. The Democratic Party did fairly well. They hold the presidency, held the Senate, even picking up a few seats, and closed the gap in the House.

I think the GOP lost the big battles because, as many other critics have said, "They live in a bubble of Tea Party pundits, conservatives and AM talk radio hosts."

I saw a bumper sticker today that sums up my feelings perfectly, it said, "I'm too informed to vote Republican!" I'll send one to Larry Rapchak.
