You have to give the president credit for his use of the all-encompassing umbrellas such as "for the children," "for the seniors," "for the poor," "for the women,'' "so the (illegal) immigrants can come out of the shadows," "it is good for America."
He uses rhetoric to make problems sound noble or draw sympathy.
He has systemically and surgically divided our country into small groups by ethnicity, race, economic, sexual orientation and special interest. Should anyone not go along with his agenda or rhetoric, they are branded as bigots, racists or homophobes.
The problem with America today as I see it is that we the people are not willing to look our problems in the eye and acknowledge them. It all starts in Washington with politicians who are unwilling to do their jobs.
Rome destroyed itself from within as a result or moral decay and fiscal irresponsibility. Are we next?
