Just clean lines instead of raising water tower

I see everyone complaining about the water in Lake Station. I believe we were set up to borrow money to fix the problem. The city government did not clean the towers or flush the water hydrants for five years.

Now they want to spend $8 million to fix the water. In the previous census we had 14,000 people, and now we have 12,000 or less. Why do we have to raise the towers to get more pressure? A waste of money.

Some lines have to be replaced, but I think this City Council is controlled by the mayor. No city employees should have ever been on the City Council. Just clean the water tanks and flush the hydrants and lines.

We are heading for bankruptcy.
