At 6 a.m. Aug. 29, there was a woman clinging for life off a pier in Hammond Marina. The security personnel (Steve) arrived within 30 seconds! He needed help and called the Hammond Fire Department. They were there within one minute.

I want to highly commend Hammond Marina and the Hammond Fire Department for saving a woman's life!
